A&M | Elegant Holliston Historical Society Wedding
Elegant destination DIY wedding at the Holliston Historical Society and Wellesley College in Massachusetts.
The Holliston Historical Society is an elegant, classic, and cute venue for a wedding. Every room has a different pattern wallpaper and it has so much New England charm. Ashly and Marissa both got ready in the Asa Whiting House. But were sure to steer clear of each other. Ashly had a clear vision for their first look at her Alma Mater, Wellesley College, and communicated it to Marissa and I through a wall while they held hands (so they didn't see each other)! It was a perfect “first-touch” moment before their first look! They took separate vintage cars to the college, and walked towards each other for their first look. We then wandered the campus grounds a bit taking portraits.
The ceremony was outside, with an indoor barn reception. Marissa danced with her brother, and I am almost positive everyone in the room was crying (including me!), it was beautiful. During the meal, I caught a photo of him watching the Florida State - U Miami football game on his phone. Ashly's song with her dad started slow and sweet and then the DJ switched on Move To Miami by Enrique Iglesias. Which erupted into a huge dance party! The song choice was so perfect, since Marissa is from Miami! Personal touches at weddings like this, make my heart explode.
I also shot their engagement session! On their horse farm with their horses and dogs. The CUTEST. View it here.
