A & J | An Intimate Olympic Peninsula Elopement
Anna & Joel are Seattle natives who’s love story began and blossomed in the city. As the years went on they made their way back across the water from Seattle to Poulsbo where Joel’s family has lived for generations. Their elopement took place on his family’s property and was just the two of them, Joel’s family pastor, their dog Pickle, and us as witnesses! (& photographers)
The ceremony was short, sweet, and so emotional.
After they said “I Do” we strolled around the property for their couples portraits. Having ample portrait time creates space for the couple to soak in all of those just married feelings, and makes the day feel so chill and relaxed.
We headed down to the water to take some portraits on the Hood Canal and enjoy some cloudy views of the Olympic Mountains.
It was supposed to rain all afternoon, but it held off for us! They ended the day with donuts from the iconic Sluy’s Bakery and were even kind enough to share with us!
The whole day felt like a dream and we were so honored to be there to photograph this special moment. Thank you again Anna & Joel!
